These terms are the rules for using EzerDoma. Please read them. They include limits on our liability in No warranties and Limits on liability.
EzerDoma (“EzerDoma,” “we,” “us”). By using the website at ezerdoma.com or any related EzerDoma site (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Notice, which is part of these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site. You must be at least 18 to submit a request.
EzerDoma is a free information and referral service for homeowners. It explains how roofs are built, helps you check roofing quotes, offers a repair-or-replace roof check, and, if you ask, connects you with local roofing companies. EzerDoma is not a roofing contractor, does not perform roofing work, and is not a party to any agreement you make with a roofing company.
When you submit a request, you’re asking us to pass your contact details and answers to up to three roofing companies that serve your area. You agree that the information you give us is accurate, that it’s about your own home or a home you’re authorized to act for, and that the phone number and email belong to you.
Roofing companies may pay EzerDoma for these connections. We don’t guarantee that any roofer will contact you, be available, offer a price, or agree to do the work, and you’re never required to hire anyone.
Roofing companies we connect you with are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents or partners, and we don’t control their prices, work, schedules, licensing, insurance or warranties. A connection is not an endorsement or a recommendation. Before you hire anyone, check their license and insurance, read the contract, and get the scope, price and warranty in writing. Any agreement you make is between you and that company.
Roof measurements, price ranges, roof check scores and quote checklists are estimates to help you ask better questions. They can be wrong. Measurements come from satellite imagery and public data, and quote checks are read automatically from the file you upload and only count what is written in it. Only a roofer who inspects your roof in person can tell you its condition, what it needs, and what it will cost.
Nothing on the Site is insurance, legal, financial, engineering or building code advice. We don’t guarantee that any insurance claim will be approved or paid. Your policy and your insurance company decide what’s covered. For questions about your policy or your rights, talk to your insurance company, a licensed agent, or a lawyer.
By submitting a request, you agree that EzerDoma and up to three roofing companies may call and text you at the number you gave, and email you, about your roofing project, including with auto-dialers, SMS messages, and artificial or prerecorded voice messages. This is not a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts from us or HELP for help. You also agree to receive our notices electronically.

We may block or remove access, or ignore a request, if we believe these rules have been broken.
The Site, including its text, drawings, flip cards, tools and the EzerDoma name, belongs to EzerDoma or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, and you may share links to it. Anything else needs our written permission. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
The Site may link to other websites, including roofing companies’ sites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
The Site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted or secure, or that any roofing company will perform well.
To the fullest extent the law allows, EzerDoma and its owners, employees and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or property, arising from your use of the Site or from any roofing company’s work, products, statements or conduct. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some states don’t allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.
If you break these terms or misuse the Site, and someone makes a claim against EzerDoma because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including attorneys’ fees, to the extent the law allows.
If you have a problem with EzerDoma, please contact us first at privacy@ezerdoma.com and give us 30 days to try to fix it. If we can’t, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top. Using the Site after an update means you accept the new terms. Changes won’t apply to a dispute that started before the update.
If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a part right away, we haven’t given up the right to enforce it later. These terms and the Privacy Notice are the whole agreement between you and EzerDoma about the Site. You may not transfer your rights under them; we may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
