Your privacy

This notice explains what information EzerDoma collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The short version: you can look around the site without giving us anything. When you ask to be connected with a roofer, we pass your request to up to three roofing companies that serve your area so they can contact you.
Who we are
EzerDoma (“EzerDoma,” “we,” “us”). EzerDoma helps homeowners understand their roofs, check roofing quotes, and connect with local roofing companies.
What we collect
Information you give us.
- Contact details when you ask to be connected: name, phone number, email address, home address and ZIP code.
- Your answers on the site, such as the roof check, your leak, storm or insurance situation, and any note you add.
- Your home address if you ask us to measure your roof. We look up publicly available satellite imagery and roof data for that address.
- Roofing quotes you upload to Compare. We read them to fill in the checklist and do not keep the files on our servers.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and security tools receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the date and time, and the page that sent you to us.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, Social Security numbers, insurance policy numbers, bank or card details, or health information.
How we use it
- To connect you with roofing companies about the project you described, and to send them the details they need to help.
- To respond to you and to confirm your phone number, by call, text or email.
- To run the tools you use, such as measuring your roof, reading a quote, or scoring your roof check.
- To keep the site working, secure, and free of spam and fraud.
- To understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights and the rights of others.
We do not use your information to train artificial intelligence models.
Sharing with roofers and “sales”
Roofing companies may pay EzerDoma when we connect them with homeowners. Some state privacy laws treat that kind of sharing as a “sale” of personal information. If you do not want your information shared with roofers, don’t submit a request; you can still use every free tool on the site. If you already submitted one, contact us at privacy@ezerdoma.com and we will not share it further.
Calls, texts and email
When you submit a request, you agree that EzerDoma and up to three roofing companies may call and text you at the number you provided, and email you, about your roofing project, including with auto-dialers, SMS messages, and artificial or prerecorded voice messages. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text from us to stop texts, or HELP for help.
- To stop calls or emails from EzerDoma, contact us at privacy@ezerdoma.com. To stop contact from a roofing company, tell that company directly.
- Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. You can make any of these requests by emailing privacy@ezerdoma.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will not treat you differently for making one. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.
Deleting your information from EzerDoma does not delete copies already sent to a roofing company. Contact that company directly as well.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee the security of information sent over the internet.
How long we keep it
We keep request details as long as needed to connect you with roofers, follow up on your project, keep records of your consent, and meet legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify them. Uploaded quote files are not stored after they are read.
Children
EzerDoma is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
Our site may link to other websites, including roofing companies’ sites. Their privacy policies, not this one, apply to them.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and for meaningful changes we will add a notice on the site.
